Community Guidelines
Last updated: April 13, 2026
NomadSquad exists because solo travel is better when you find your people. These guidelines protect the community that makes that possible. They apply to everyone — no exceptions.
Treat every traveler with kindness and respect, regardless of nationality, gender, religion, or travel style. Disagreements are fine; disrespect is not. The world is big enough for all kinds of wanderers.
Zero tolerance for hate speech, sexual harassment, bullying, threats, or discrimination of any kind — including on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or nationality. Violations result in immediate removal.
Use real photos of yourself and provide accurate information about who you are. Fake profiles, catfishing, or impersonating another person undermines the trust this community is built on and will result in permanent removal.
Post genuine content from your travels. Do not fabricate trip history, claim to be somewhere you are not, or post fake reviews of locations. Authenticity is what makes NomadSquad useful for everyone.
When meeting a NomadSquad connection in person, always meet for the first time in a well-populated public place, tell someone your plans, and trust your instincts. Read our Safety Tips for more guidance.
NomadSquad is not a marketplace. Do not advertise services, sell products, recruit for multi-level marketing schemes, or send unsolicited promotional messages to other travelers.
Do not share other users' personal information, photos, or chat content outside the platform without their explicit written consent. What happens in the squad, stays in the squad.
Use the in-app report button whenever you encounter content or behaviour that violates these guidelines. Our team reviews every report. Consequences range from a formal warning to a permanent ban depending on severity.
If something feels wrong, say something. We review all reports and take action. The health of this community depends on every one of us looking out for each other. Questions? Email support@nomadsquad.app.
